Google is bringing its Chromecast streaming stick to yet another country: Chromecast will officially go on sale in Japan on Wednesday, according to a report from Engadget Japan. Google introduced the device with a local press event Tuesday, and has started to list it on its website as well.

Chromecast will be available through Google Play as well as Amazon Japan for 4200 Yen (about $41), and it will launch with support for video services from NTT DoCoMO as well as KDDI, and of course YouTube, Google Play, and a number of other apps.

The launch comes less than two weeks after Google introduced Chromecast in South Korea, and ahead of a rumored launch in Australia this week, which may come as early as Wednesday as well. Altogether, Google may be looking to expand Chromecast’s international market to a total of seven countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
