Millions of Facebook users took a trip down memory lane last week to celebrate the company’s 10th anniversary
In honor of turning a decade old, Facebook gave users the option of downloading a “Look Back” video that highlights the top moments from their profile over the past 10 years. As it turns out, the gift was well-received: Nearly 200 million users watched their video, and roughly half of those shared it with their friends, according to Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg
Sandberg mentioned the figures at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference Tuesday night in San Francisco. “It was amazing,” she said, according to CNET. “It … showed the power of the Facebook brand.”
